I only considered one fraternity when I cane to Bama. I was a legacy and I knew what I wanted to be and couldn't be happier with my choice. I do recommend all freshmen check out a few fraternities to see where you fit in best. If I were a freshmen next year I'd check out the following: SAE (good rep & parties) Sigma Nu (nice house & pretty conservative ) Phi Gam (nice house, laid back) Theta Chi (great parties) pike (newest house & great parties) Sigma Chi (new house next year, chill) Good luck and all of the mentioned above would be open to rushees
