Typically there's a rush form on each fraternities website. Be sure to complete it of its on there. Follow up w an email or a call to the chair asking about Rush events. The fraternities start having Rush events/ parties in the Spring and into the summer months. My suggestion is to narrow your selection down to a handful that interst you and get going talking to them, getting to know their brothers and you will know if it's a good fit for you. I know my fraternity and most of the old row and the great new row (I'm in a new row) know who they want before school starts in the Fall. 99.9 % of recruitment is done over the summer. Fraternuties will host river rafting, parties, cook-outs etc and I suggest you go at as many as possible. If you are far out of state I suggest you network somehow with active brothers. If you know actives/graduates be sure to get them to put in a good word for you. Hope this helps. Bottom line, network!
