No, I don't think not being wanted is really the correct way of looking at recruitment. Getting released does NOT mean you are not wanted. It means that the house is relegated to a fixed amount of invitations and they filled that amount with other pnm's first. Being below that cutoff line doesn't mean they didn't like you or didn't want you. Houses like and want many, many more pnm's than they can have back. Actives get just as upset when their favorite girls don't return. The selection process is not about deciding who to cut, believe it or not. It is about deciding who BEST FITS. Those are the discussions and the focus. You are invited back to the houses that want you AND see you as a fit. PNM's need to understand this when they are hurting.
