If you want really upscale, Chucks is a fun option downtown, Evangeline’s is a bit out of the way but my personal fav and a bit more intimate, and you can never go wrong with a steak from Chophouse. Other than that, Avenue Pub is a crowd pleaser, Half Shell is fun and has good seafood, and SoCal is a bit more upscale Mexican food. Five bar is also great and it’s like a more casual spinoff from the owners of Chucks.
