Chapters are asked to vote for the candidate endorsed by the machine. Why wouldn’t they? That person will be pro-Greek. No one forces you, it’s in your interest. That’s how elections work in general. For those outside of college…If you work in a trade represented by a union, do you vote for the democrat who supports the union? Does the union let you know who that candidate is and ask you to vote that way? This happens all over the place in elections.
