I would really encourage you to take a chance with the houses that do still want you instead of dropping out. If a house has cut you, they have made a decision that they wanted other people over you. It is possible that they would take a chance on someone who is borderline, but the borderline cases are pretty few because those girls usually end up joining another house. I've been in those discussions at my house and we would figure out why that person was cut and what the problem was during recruitment. If someone was cut for being awkward during conversation (most PNMs think they are great conversationalists but this is not actually the case) or had some sort of red flag, we are not likely to ask them back for COB. Our actives are looking out for other girls we can recruit who may not have gone through recruitment instead. If you were dropped from all houses, I'm really sorry but there is something that you need to fix before trying again, whether that's your GPA or your conversation skills or your resume. Conversation skills probably had something to do with it, even if you think conversations went really well. If that is the case, then work on getting a high GPA, getting leadership experience in a couple of campus organizations, improving conversation skills with strangers (work on this, I am serious), and making connections with sorority members.
