At the “truth” person in this comment, obviously got their info from Wikipedia because they actually used the term “dormant”. For whatever reason, SK’s wiki has EVERY chapter they ever had listed on there (active or not) but ALL sororities will have lists like that, they just don’t share it. Like almost all greek life, there was a pretty big purge of sororities/fraternities dropping a lot of their chapters between the 90s-00s. After the insane 80s greek life, greek life needed to start restructuring. SK was one of those Sororities that decided they were going to focus on rebranding and creating more structured base, so they did cut a lot of their chapters but to help grow their stronger chapters. Past decade they’ve been expanding like crazy and added a whole lot for chapters and barely losing any. Their nationals is very strong and you will see a lot more SK in the future.
