I’ve been wondering about recs. Are they more important at the start of recruitment than toward the end? Do houses use recs, along with gpa and reputation, for IWT cuts only? I have two OR houses on my card that I could not find recs for, even though I tried. So far, those houses have not cut me. Almost all other houses I got 2 recs for. I really like these two houses, but will they eventually cut me if I did not get recs? I have a high gpa, lots of high school involvement, am ok-looking, but don’t do much with my socials at all. OOS, no connections.
