Ok hi so I graduated this past year and I know rush is quickly approaching so I hopped on greekrank to see the tea. PNMS MOST OF THESE RANKS ARE BS. I’m telling you that the rankings on here do not represent how it’s actually like on campus. Now that I’m graduated I will totally admit that I joined a house that was “top tier” on here and through out the years I compared our house to others and I told myself “wow some of these other houses are definitely better than mine” If I were ranking the houses based on what I saw through out my time here at Alabama, this is how I would rank them. Obviously this is just an opinion, but I DEFINITELY don’t think the rankings you usually see hold true. Top: AXO, DDD, ZTA, PM AXO is a popular choice for those who want to focus on grades and value homecoming/those sorts of things. Super sweet girls. Every girl in AXO I’ve met I like. DDD got a good pledge class last year and is a mix between grades/party. Take girls from all over. I’ll admit, I’ve met a lot of tri delts that I don’t like, but overall they have a good reputation and take a lot of good girls. ZTA gets a lot of hate on here but they are the most talked about/most popular on campus by far. SOOO many (mostly OOS) pnms I’ve talked to this year (I have a sister going through rush so I’ve talked to a lot of her friends/roomies) are going in wanting zeta so props to them. They weren’t as popular my year. I do think a lot of jealousy is aimed at that house but they got a really good pledge class last year and the zetas I have met are actually awesome. Most (not all) of the zetas I met definitely don’t fit they typical stereotype. Very laid back. Phi Mu is popular to pnms but let’s be honest they didn’t get a good pledge class last year. There were more pnms that AXO/DDD/ZTA stole from our house than PM. Some girls that are Phi Mus now my house cut first round. However, Phi Mu is highly respected on campus and they are also extremely popular here. I’ve met a lot of Phi Mus and half of them I like and the other half I don’t like at all. Lower top: KKG, AGD, XO, Pi Phi Kappa is definitely a great house here, but they do stick to pnms from certain areas. A top house for instate girls, but for OOS not so much. Fun party girls that couldn’t care less about instagram/popularity. AGD is also popular to instate girls and they solely focus on grades/involvement. I rarely see any AGDs out. Not a bad thing but they definitely aren’t as popular as similar houses such as AXO. I never heard a frat say “oh I want to swap with AGD”... it just doesn’t happen unless it’s ATO. XO has a fun/very diverse group of girls. I love the XO’s I’ve met but they definitely didn’t take as many “top” pnms as other houses. I feel like they just kind of fade in the background and are sitting in the middle of the pack right now. Pi Phi is honestly on the come up. They took a lot of cute girls this year and they are fun to be around. I’ve met a lot of Pi Phis and most of them are genuinely great girls.
