I was/ am far OOS and a Kappa legacy ( but from a different university). I had a very good recruitment. I went Kappa and it was the best decision FOR ME. I enjoyed the girls I met during recruitment, but the girls I met in my pledge class from OOS are my core group. We go on vacations together and visit over the summer ( not so much this summer). We group chat daily. Does it feel like the in-state girls and OOS girls are in separate cliques at times? Yes, definitely. But, not all the time. And, we don’t have to put up with some BS other houses make their pledges or actives do ( exercise hours? Nope. Spray tans for recruitment? Nope. Outfit checks over the summer? Nope.). So, quit hating on Kappa. We are fine. Our sisterhood is very good/ great. Our retention is great. Work on your own recruitment. Thanks. ✌🏻
