That’s what I mean. I said it before in this forum somewhere but like I love telling people I don’t pay for friendships except this year....I’m literally paying for friendship? Bc there are no other benefits being awarded to me for my dues this year?? Can’t use the house fully that I pay for, can’t have the socials I paid for, can’t have retreats I pay for...So I literally am paying to just be a sister of XYZ. Goes against what I was taught about our sisterhood. My chapter isn’t approving early alum status I heard on a national level for any of us who want to apply so neat I just have to drop out? Sooo sisterly. So bogus. I’m coming to realize it’s just another big business making money off us. It’s a tough choice but if I have to drop to save $$$ for something after I graduate this year I will.
