Most nationals simply require a 2.75 or 3.0 to give a bid. But since UA is so competitive, these chapters have higher standards. It all depends on the PNM, every house takes grade risks but it depends on her resume, reputation, activities, connections, etc. It depends on what the house is willing to compromise GPA for (in Zeta and alpha phi, they’re willing to compromise GPA for looks, etc). Most cuts job IWT are made based on GPA, if you make it past IWT with a low GPA and still have some of these houses back, I would say you’re safe and you won’t be judged on GPA anymore after that.
