Get off GR, mom. Boohoo the houses have to temporarily change the way they operate to comply for university, state, and federal guidelines for the safety of everyone. But god forbid your sweet angel not get to run to her house on bid day! Things likely won’t be better in the spring and restrictions won’t have been lifted, so stop fantasizing about it. Joining a sorority is about more than running to the house on bid day. It’s about the friends you make that will be your friends forever. Let’s not forget the whole reason girls want to join a sorority. Also at most schools, sororities don’t have in house meals, pledge retreats, bid day run or anything and they survive and love their sisterhood just fine. Let’s not lose sight of what’s really important.
