To me KD’s problem is how apathetic they are to all of the fun events that most other houses participate in. They don’t do hardly anything for Homecoming, Greek Week, etc. I think the girls in KD that would love to be more involved just take a back seat to the more vocal older girls and wish they’d pledged elsewhere. The most outgoing, involved, achievement focused girls continue to go AXO, AGD and XO. PM appeals to the fashion/makeup/superficial crowd. KKG and DDD appeal to the girls that aren’t quite as smart/involved and really want to party. That leaves KD with nothing that really sets them apart besides apathy. They only appeal to one or two fraternities whereas the rest of the Old Row sororities are really sought after by a lot more of the fraternities. So during rush KD doesn’t have more than maybe 30 girls they really want that also really want them. That leaves a huge void to fill during rush which is why they are known for taking “filler girls” and sometimes having to give snap bids.
