Other old row houses have been much more open to accepting the best OOS girls which keeps them at the top of grades and involvement. KD was late to the party on that one and has suffered for it. Now kappa wasn’t great about it either but kappa’s also a huge national name which helps them a ton. That said I think most girls in the running are either KD/kappa types or alpha gam/alpha chi types. The super competitive, grade focused girls aren’t going to be drawn to KD anymore.
