<strong>Subject:</strong><br />how i got my top house <br /><br /> Poster Message:
I came here to say the truth about rush because a lot of girls who took heavy cuts get pissy when they hear how easy it could’ve been for them. First, I had a 2.8 GPA and got a full card back every round and ended up with my top pick. GPA really doesn’t matter as much as some people are on here claiming. As long as you make yourself look fun and hint at the things you’re ‘not supposed to talk about’ the actives will like you better for standing out from the bland conversations. I’m from ‘the south’, but still OOR for what picky houses are looking for. Know which houses want a southern belle and exaggerate that as much as possible when you can. Looks matter, I’m skinny, medium height, go to the tanning bed year round, with blonde hair to my waist. If this sounds the opposite of what you look like, I wish you luck and thankfully you still have time to work towards the desired appearance. I spent my summer before rushing traveling wherever I wanted and had plenty of trips and brag worthy experiences to talk about during rush. Don’t say you stayed in your hometown working, having money gets you a long way. Fake it till you make it if you have to. Fit the ‘look’, name drop and wear what money has gotten you and allowed you to do, make sure you sound like you are ready to have a fun time, and your choice of house is waiting for you. No apologies for what I have said, anyone who has been through rush knows these are the qualities of a pnm receiving a full card aside from born and raised Alabama girls.
