I had a similar experience in zeta. The girl asked me my name, major, where I’m from, etc. all the basic questions, then looked at me and said “Ummmm I don’t really know what to talk about now” so I had to lead the whole conversation while she was looking all around the room not paying any attention to me. She was extremely rude and clearly had zero interest in talking to me. Part of the reason is probably what my major was (they don’t want highly academic girls from what I’ve seen), but it was my very first house on the first day so I was MORTIFIED. Luckily I had much better experiences at other houses throughout the week.
