Top and Bottom.

Keep in mind, it’s ALL ABOUT IF THE HOUSE WANTs YOU. Your choices are secondary. Everything runs through a computer program. Houses rank pnms top to bottom. If they want you and you want them, you move to the next round “Top houses” or popular houses, meaning more girls ranked the house high than they can take to the next round, get who they want because there is usually a match. Also, these houses can invite fewer girls back in early rounds - they are confident these girls will be around in later rounds. HOWEVER, this is the one time that “the house choice drives the process” can get a bit thrown off and how a house can have a bad recruitment. If the house cuts deep early and the popular pnms that all houses want decide to go elsewhere in the end, it can lead to “a bad rush” for the house. Lower, less popular, houses that many pnms did not rank high still have to make their numbers and have to recruit as many, and even slightly more pnms, than the top houses. These “lower” houses Generally invite more girls back than the more popular houses each round, But these are the girls not already Having a card filled by the houses they preferred. If you are a pnm the top houses didn’t generally rank high, You start to get other houses on your card. And if you are pnm few houses rank high, you start not to get a full card. Meaning invited back to less than the maximum number of houses each round. It’s complicated and the program that runs this all is hard to completely understand. Here’s a breakdown of the reality of it all. Very few pnms get full cards with all the houses as they ranked them. Some pnms get full cards. Most full cards are a mix of your favorite houses and some you ranked lower. And a full card doesn’t necessarily mean you get a bid to a “top” house, although it’s more likely. Many pnms have less than full cards - that doesn’t mean you won’t have some top/popular houses. Some girls get into top houses with less than full cards. Some pnms see cuts. And some see “deep cuts” - meaning limited houses starting at philanthropy. They try to hold on to at least one into pref or re-evaluate.
