Totally disagree. What house you’re in does matter in regards to which swaps you have, which formals and date parties you get invited to and which clubs you get to join on campus and involvement in SGA. The only people that say it doesn’t matter are the girls in bottom houses. And yes, there is a certain amount of envy when you see a girl in a top house t-shirt. There’s nothing wrong with that.
