how would you notice if the bid list was changed? chapters either rank girls via a written system or a verbal one (most likely a combo). if your chapter ranks via writing then you have no idea how pnms are getting ranked, and if it’s verbal you have some idea but (unless you’re vp membership/chapter pres/something like that) you never see the ranking. if a girl your actives loved doesn’t come back, you just assume she cut you. the girl at umich who initially wrote about this story said that actives started figuring out what was going on when there was a girl who was friends with a bunch of girls in their chapter trying to rush for only that chapter. the reason they figured it out was because the girls 100% knew she wouldn’t cut them, and asked her. otherwise you wouldn’t know.
