Old row fraternity houses are: Delta Kappa Epsilon Sigma Alpha Epsilon Kappa Alpha Phi Gamma Delta Sigma Nu Phi Delta Theta All of them are strong houses with influential alumni. They have been continuously strong too, with DKE and SAE pretty much running things since before the Civil War. SAE was founded here and DKE was the first fraternity at UA and the first fraternity in the south. All old row houses have an incredible amount of prestige and power which is why it appears at times, that the rules don't apply to them. Most of this comes from the fact that many of their alum are on the president of UA 's cabinet, board of trustees and other powerful positions. Their alum hold a lot positions within the state and federal government as well. New row houses, like beta theta Pi, have some influential alum too, but the old row houses have been at it the longest and most continuous. DKE, KA and SAE, but especially DKE, prob are the strongest right now, but in reality all old row houses are very influential. Hope this helps!
