Good for them....but

Its great that Alpha Phi cleaned house and is rebuilding. But, unfortunately, we all know the truth: a sorority that replaced half of its entire membership due to quality issues is going to go through a period of instability for several years as they try to replace their old culture with a new one. It is not realistic to believe the new half of their members pulled in last year were able to magically fixed everything in a year. (Otherwise, by that logic, SK would be all done catching up after this year.) We all realize it is going to take longer than that to rebuild. While Alpha Phi wishes to maintain their old middle tier position in the ranks, everyone knows other houses that have not had this rebuilding issue, like DG, Theta, AOPi, ADPi, Gphi, or DZ are stronger right now, and deserve to be ranked higher. Nothing against Alpha Phi, and I wish them well in their rebuilding, just saying it is very unfair to these other houses, especially the ones with higher grades and reputations for good involvement on campus, to say Alpha Phi is better than them right now.
