Best post on greekrank so far. I had the exact same experience, and ended up in a sorority that was not on my radar screen all week, but was just a “filler.” At the end of the week, it was clear it would be my only choice. Many many times in the DECADES since then I have been so grateful that this was my path. My dearest, longest and closest friendships were formed in that sorority house and those friendships continue to this day. We have been one another’s bridesmaids, godmothers, handholders through divorces, deaths and health scares as well as joyful times with great trips, fun vacations, children and even grandchildren. If you see a bunch of old ladies on game day in a tent on the quad laughing their heads off, it’s probably us! THERE IS NO BAD SORORITY AT ALABAMA. All of the houses offer you friendship, a rich social life, academic help and a place to call home. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THIS WEEK!
