Quota additions. Houses that are weaker during rush (it’s not a diss, just the truth) generally take a decent percentage of girls to pref that are only preffing that house. Those girls are guaranteed a bid to that house per panhellenic policy. That means that even if a PNM would not usually make it on to a sorority’s bid list, she will be added on after matching is over because that’s her only house. This also helps the houses because generally they’re the same chapters who have retention issues.
