First of all, so sorry you got cut so badly but I’m glad you understand that it is most likely because of grades and lack of connections. IT IS NOT PERSONAL AND DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR WORTH. These are young mostly immature people doing the voting and don’t have life experience to look beyond the norm of superficial beauty, grades and recs. Spend your time thinking about things to talk about and ask about, practice smiling a lot and show your best side to SK. Rush at Bama is the biggest in the country and can be so intimidating, but honestly if you get into ANY SORORITY you will have a great experience. It really makes college so much easier in terms of starting out with friends, making social connections, and YES helps you academically if you’re not an alcoholic or just looking to party.
