<strong>Subject:</strong><br />big changes this year<br /><br /> Poster Message:
As much as our rankers don't want to admit it, something really has changed among the houses. Last year, aost all the posts on GR were bashing and ranking. This year, the tone is very different. There is still plenty of ranking and bashing, but now there are almost as many posts noting how fabulous all the houses are, how similar houses have become, and how you can be happy in any house. I think the last few years living with our big houses and our big pledge classes, the diversity factor had taken hold and most girls are able to find their fit in whatever house they land in. We also see our friends enjoying the Greek experience in all the houses, no matter their supposed rank. We realize all our social schedules are similar and girls are having great times, again no matter the house or supposed rank. There have been, and still are, sooo many smart, fun, unique women going through recruitment, all the houses are gaining great members. There are now so many posts saying you can be happy in any house because we know it is true. It seems the biggest reason PNMs struggle is that they tell temselves the house does not fit them before they have tried to integrate into the house. The only way a PNM can enjoy any new transition to their house or even at Bama, is to be open and try your best to make friends. Go to everything, talk to everyone. You can love any house at Bama! Change is happening! Ignore the ranks!
