Do you already have undergrad and master degrees, and are coming here just to work on your PhD, or are you coming here to get started on the bachelor and see it through to Ph.D? Not sure college chapters can pledge guys enrolled as graduate or other advanced degree students. It probably depends on the fraternity, but this would be a rule set by their nationals. If you're coming here just as a PhD student, not sure you'd have time for a fraternity anyway. I hear that Thesis and Dissertation takes most of your waking hours and a lot of the ones you'd normally use for sleeping. Plus, you'd be a lot older than the 18 and 19-year-olds making up most of your pledge class. Just some things to think about.
