Males in fraternities have nothing to do with sorority legacies, and I'm assuming you meant that your dad's mom was in a sorority, not fraternity. You are a legacy to a particular sorority if you are a daughter, sister, granddaughter, and sometimes but not always great-granddaughter and niece, of an initiated member, so you need to go to the national sorority websites of those family members to read their legacy policy and how they define it. Each sorority is a little different. For example: XO only recognizes daughters and sisters and not grands, and I believe only SK here defines niece as legacy. Cousins never count. Some sororities have legacy introduction forms that your family member should definitely send in on your behalf. If there is any question if your family member was a member, the national office can look them up and verify for you, because you said you "believe" your grandma was APhi but you need to be absolutely sure. So, TLDR verify your legacy status with each national sorority and get your family members to send in any forms to their chapter here.
