I wonder if it was a year that Bama had to admit more students than usual. The number of admissions offers are based on a certain percentage of acceptances that they can usually rely on based on yearly statistics. More offers are given every year than the number of freshmen the school actually wants to admit because they know that a certain percentage will not accept here. But some years a school will get far more acceptances than usual and have to take a larger freshman class than they would like. Could this be it?
