I came from OOR with absolutely no idea. Had a few recs sent from family friends because I heard it was important but really didn’t even know the Greek alpahabet. Never came on here and had no pre conceived ideas. I won’t say who, but I remember what houses I didn’t like - not all bottom ranked. One “top ranked” OR house in particular was an immediate turn off as were some you might “expect” if you look at ranks. I had two that I really liked at IWT. I did get them at Pref with and one more - when we had 3 at pref. Besides my top two, Opinions of houses changed from round to round. At first, didn’t like the other house I got at pref although they moved to my second choice by the end. At first I confused some and couldn’t remember if it was house XYZ or XYA as many seemed similar. It was like I had my favorite few, my least favorite few and “the rest”. My biggest surprise that the house I wanted most all week disappointed me at pref. - am”top ranked” house here. My second moved up and that that’s the house I’m in - “mid ranked” here. One other thing, I had a full card and a great rush. I am very lucky and fortunate. My new roommate - who I met and was making friend over the summer mostly on social media - had deep cuys early on.
