Sisterhood absolutely plays a part in retention. However it’s also important to remember that houses with high in state numbers will naturally have bigger membership and vice versa. Local girls have a lot of societal pressure to get bids to and become alums of certain houses and are more likely to actually stay at UA. Unfortunately many OOS girls decide Alabama isn’t for them, and the ones who stay don’t have as much pressure to be a member for all 4 years. So yes, not really subjective, but there are also a lot of factors at play.
