I get that if you are from certain cities in Alabama and maybe certain other big southern cities, or if your mom is telling you where to pledge, you may think that these (along with Kappa and maybe Alpha Gam) are the only top sororities. But honestly, it’s a different world now. With over 400 girls in every house, I can assure you that there are old money and new money girls in every house. There are beautiful and average girls in every house. And there are smart and dumb girls in every house. You do not have to be in one of these houses to make “connections” any more. Please come to rush with an open mind. You may end up liking one of these two houses best, and if you do, then great. I hope you get a bid. But you will have the opportunity to have a great social life, get involved in a lot of campus organizations, and go to lots of fraternity parties no matter which house you join. Trust me.
