I don't agree with it either, mainly because a high school GPA is NOT indicative of how well you will do in college because college and hs is so different academically. I was the person in high school who had to study for WEEKS just to get a B or C, had extreme trouble keeping up, had to work ridiculously hard if I wanted an A. Got to college, the structure just works better for me and I have no problem pulling A's. On the contrary, a lot of my friends with 4.0s in HS got to college and absolutely tanked because they could breze by in high school, not so much in college because you actually need to study. Raising the min gpa for girls who have never even taken a college course is not going to make houses have higher gpas. You need to do something about the study habits of the girls who are already in the house.
