If you have under a 3.5, no matter gorgeous and fun you are, there is a 95% you’re getting dropped by all of Old Row before pref. That 5% left are sisters of girls in-house or mega legacies or from very powerful families. Being followed by a bunch of girls from the same house isn’t really a big deal. They are following hundreds of other girls too, so don’t get your hopes up. It’s better than no one following you, but by no means does it guarantee you will make it through to pref. You have to remember there are thousands of girls rushing and most of them have high GPAs, good looks, and stellar resumes. You are a little fish in a very big pond.
