PNMs, every Bama house is fantastic and most likely the best and largest chapter within their respective national sorority. Most have been the best within their national group for at least a generation. In fact, most Bama houses, including more than half the NR houses and many "bottom" houses, have been on campus 50+ years and have multiple generations of die-hard house legacies that would love to join the sorority they have heard their family talk about for years, knowing the sorority is fantastic no matter what rank the house is on GR. My point being is that every house on campus is amazing and could easily fill their house with PNMs that really want that house. EVERY house has to make hard cuts of fantastic women every round and, sadly, plenty of terrific women are released from recruitment without invites back to any house. If you are invited back to a house, it is solely because they wanted you. If you recieve a bid from a group of 400 women that valued you and selected you to join them over other women they cut, but you reject them because you think you would be happier in a group that did not select you to join them.... then you are greatly mistaken. Remember, you make the sorority, it does not make you. However, If you need a specific house to feel validated and know you could not be happy with a bid from a lower ranked house, there is a very easy fix. At the earliest party, quietly tell the member showing you around any house deemed beneth you, that you do not want to be invited back. The house will oblige and you will not be invited back. Happily, this opens doors for PMMs that desperately want to join the lowly house. Problem solved.
