Y'all really out there making it sound like Mad max or something. It's not that deep. Everyone who wants to be in a sorority will get into a sorority, assuming they aren't a grade or reputation risk. Yes, there are some PNMs who feel like they have to be in a specific sorority or life is over for them, but that is such a very small minority compared to those who just want to be somewhere. Of course they're sad when a house they liked drops them, and maybe there are even a few tears, but the majority of people who go through recruitment don't see this as a life changing event, and they cry it out and move on. Whoever on here is making it sound like this is somehow going to make or ruin the rest of your life has the mentality of a rock, is trying to be scary or dramatic, but obviously has never been through recruitment at Alabama.
