I'd definitely go for it. There's no reason to wait until next year and miss all the fun with your age group. At worst you'll meet a lot of girls. Then if you get cut by all the houses you will know some girls who will invite you back for cob. I'd say to have an open mind and not drop out if you have houses left like @Well did.
