It's a fair question. I'm an old lady, and when I was in college, my sorority had about 50 to 70 members. Now my sorority has almost 400! But the friendships made - those are just about the same. We had the same issues - bigs and littles that barely got along, some that didn't. We had friend groups that were tight. We had loners who wouldn't hang out at the house and then wondered why they didn't know anybody. People do tend to find their own "tribe" the more they spend time with sisters. The more you work with other members on various things - philanthropic projects, rush skits, conversation practice, T shirt deliveries, menu councils, whatever - the more members you get to know. You get out what you put into it. In other words, it works the same, just on a different scale. Now...I still can't figure out how they serve almost 400 meals three times a day out of a kitchen that's not much bigger than the one we had back in the day!
