If an organization is Tax exempt then by law they must furnish their financials. Doesn't mean on a website, but hey have to make available in some form, this can be in the form of an annual report. As you mentioned a "National" could be several entities, an Operations part, a foundation, a housing corp... Each completely separate entities according to the IRS filings and have separate filings. In fact, they cannot mix money between them.
