What about the fact that some fraternities get their pledge classes over the summer and are 'full' by the time rush starts? That never used to happen; rush started when everyone came back for the start of school. Sure, some kids were on the houses' radars already, but no one got an actual bid until rush week. It's getting ridiculous. Some houses are starting so early they rush high school kids before they even graduate. Not exaggerating, I have known of a couple kids getting bids even before they were officially admitted here. No wonder a lot of guys don't want to rush when the deck is already stacked against them before they even get here.
