Except they are good at some conservative schools too like SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma— maybe it’s a Texas/Oklahoma thing. They are good at Texas- but it is liberal school. But they are very academic at all these schools too. They definitely promote grades and that may be why they have so many successful celebrities?
