All panhellenic sororities but Theta are in the machine and have a machine rep that passes on machine recommendations for block votes. Machine is really frat run and basically tells sororities what to do. Theta is continually voted to the bottom of the ranks by machine members to make an example of them to discourage other sororities from dropping out of the machine.
