Please do not bother applying to graduate school at any of the top 10 schools (Harvard, Stanford, etc). Simply because you will not fit in there. You girls are still in that stage of life where a person’s skin color and background matter to you. Schools like Stanford where your brain and creativity matter more than the size of your push-up bra aren’t places where your intellect, if you have any, will be sufficient. The world outside the Deep South is aggressive, ambitious, and fierce. It is not a place where the “n” word is thrown around, racial conspiracies are plotted, and the alumnae cannot stand someone who’s not white skinned. This applies for the girls who are born and bred in the Deep South. There’s plenty of girls here who are from those educated places, and I sincerely hope you will return home once you get that degree (or better yet, transfer). This place will always be the major bastion of discrimination and racism in America. And then you wonder why NY and LA think you’re wasteland. Well, a school that needs to have a “Greek Integration” program just because the fraternities and sororities are malicious enough to discriminate on race and skin color will not fit in somewhere like Los Angeles or Boston. Over here, Robert E Lee and George Wallace are worshippedby fellow fraternity men. This attitude isn’t welcome in bastions of intellect and progression. Therefore, blossom where you are planted. The world outside the Deep South, where lynching is still appreciated by many of you, does not want you.
