Some of them do. The problem is still too few slots. IFC should publish the statistics. Last year all frats pledged about 1,100 guys, total. There were well over 3,000 freshmen boys. One pretty good NR house had ten apps for every spot. Bama attracts a lot of high quality guys. The fraternity system isn't big enough to absorb them.
