A lot of what houses are "known for" is what they were like many years ago. People on this site keep perpetuating the old stereotypes. Then girls fall for it, pledge a house that they think they will like, then drop out when it turns out the house isn't at all like that anymore. PNMs that want a real sorority experience will look at this drop out rate and be forewarned going in that if their expectations are unrealistic they're not going to be happy.
