There were just under 2,000 rushing last August. Look for a smaller, older house, with plans to build. However, most of them are planning at least major renovations are expansions. A 3.0 is borderline. Do what you can to raise it, even by .1 or .2. Forget that concept of "best" sororities. All the Alabama groups have excellent students, campus leaders, beauties, popular girls. They also have an assortment of the rest of us - fair students, good followers, nice girls but not raving beauties. The lowest ranks sororities are still heads above groups at many other schools. Look for the group where you find kindred souls, where you feel at home.
