Is competitive in a much different way from the others -- instead of using quota and total, each chapter takes only as many new members as there are vacancies in the house. Most houses require members to live in all four years. (The exceptions are ADPi, whose national requires that they allow live-outs, and the two unhoused chapters, Alpha Sigma Alpha and Theta Phi Alpha.) Add in the fact that Indiana's recruitment numbers are comparable to those in the SEC, and that means many PNMs who would be happy in any house get dropped completely.
