One way to find older girls who've pledge is to go to the university's web site and search for "sorority pledges announced". In fact, I've done it for you: uanews.ua.edu/?s=sorority+pledges Search these lists for gals from your hometown (copy and paste to a Word document, then control/f to find your hometown mentions). Contact them and ask who recommended them. You'll find some who've resigned and some who never knew who recommended them, but you'll also find some who do know who recommended them. Then go to that person and ask for a recommendation. Make sure you have a packet to hand them - your resume (with parents' names), school transcript (unofficial copy is OK) and a picture or two with your name on the back.
