Unless I'm unaware to new changes, no one should be pomping outside of their house. If they get caught their house can be disqualified. In general though, people SHOULD be secretive about their house's pomp. The biggest thing is that you shouldn't tell anyone the design. Not that it's likely for another house to steal your design, but it could happen. Most if not all houses are very strict about pomping and what you can and can't say about it. My best advice is for you to just do what you need to do and keep your mouth closed.
