Guys invite girls to formal hoping they'll get get something out of it. Some of the more conservative and naive girls say yes having no idea this is the case and end up a little angry with it all. Advice to PMNs if you agree to go to formal with a guy, make sure you'll be comfortable setting your boundaries early to avoid conflict. A lot of guys just want a date last minute because they need one and already paid for formal, but most of the time they want a hook up in a cool place.
